Lagree Fitness is a workout method developed by Sebastien Lagree, combining elements of Pilates with strength training and cardio, and core stability. The workout focuses on the body building principles of muscle engagement, time under tension, and metabolic conditioning, and is known for its intensity and effectiveness in sculpting lean muscles and improving overall fitness.
The workout utilizes a specialized machine called the Megaformer, which features adjustable springs and straps to provide resistance. Lagree workouts typically focus on slow and controlled movements, targeting multiple muscle groups simultaneously to improve strength, flexibility, and endurance, and is a PROVEN method to change body composition FAST. Using the Time Under Tension a.k.a. TUT technique, muscles are forced to stay contracted throughout the range of motion using slow, controlled movements.
